About the program

This tarot session is not presented as a fortune-telling consultation, but as an intimate psychological and spiritual exchange. Rooted in Western esotericism and Hermetic philosophy—an ancient tradition based on the idea that the inner world reflects the outer universe—the session uses the cards as a psychological mirror. They provide a visual framework designed to open a perceptual doorway between the visible and the invisible, allowing participants to explore their inner worlds, choices, and subconscious patterns that may otherwise escape their awareness.

Moving from an initial practice centred on electronic art therapy to painting in pursuit of a more physical and tactile medium, Jo created her own tarot deck during a period of solitary Hermetic study and artistic retreat. By painting directly over Salvador Dalí’s iconic Dalí Universal Tarot, she layered her own symbols, esoteric motifs, and reinterpreted iconography onto Dalí’s surrealist imagery, creating a unique, multidimensional interpretive tool.

During each session, participants enter into a calm, intimate dialogue in which the transformed images serve as visual catalysts. Working with the cards, the artist and participant collaboratively map the energies of the present moment, reframe personal narratives, and bring insights to the surface within a grounded, supportive, and collaborative space.
