Among the 17 Special Projects in the inaugural edition of Conductor (New York), artist Trong Gia Nguyen presents Car Trunk Karaoke (Winter Playlist), 2026.

These karaoke tracks are a parody of James Corden’s Late Late Show “Carpool Karaoke” segments, except these appropriate bizarre, disgraceful, and mostly banal footage from news and current events. The karaoke machine beckons the viewer to perform their cruelty, absurdity and inhumanity, daring them to recite the words and mimic the gestures of the monstrosities we prop up.

For its first participation at Art Paris, Galerie Bao presents at Booth I26 a curated selection of contemporary Vietnamese art by Trương Công Tùng, Nguyễn Duy Mạnh, and Lêna Bùi. The exhibition engages with La Réparation, the theme proposed by Alexia Fabre, alongside questions of memory and material transformation through lacquer, ceramics, and mixed media. Rooted in Vietnamese traditions and contemporary practices, Galerie Bao highlights both emerging and established voices from the region on the international art stage.

As the world’s oldest fair for modern and contemporary art, Art Cologne brings together leading galleries and new voices. Our joint presentation will highlight distinctive contemporary practices by Camila Rodríguez Triana, Thao Nguyen Phan, Trương Công Tùng and Rosilene Ludivico.

For her first solo booth with Galerie Bao at Asia Now - Paris Asian Art Fair (booth H12), Hà My Nguyễn (Ha-My Nguyen) presents Flesh and Leaf, Sap and Seed, an uncanny ecosystem where hybrid fruits and female forms germinate in ceramic, watercolor, and drawing.
