For the 11th edition of ASIA NOW, Galerie BAO presents the solo exhibition of Hà My Nguyễn, transforming the space into an immersive garden of ceramic sculptures. Drawing on her ongoing research into marginalised botanical knowledges, edible wild plants, and the ancestral gestures of women nurturing communities, Hà My creates mystical and hybrid forms that appear suspended between the vegetal, the human, and the imaginary.
These ceramic pieces, simultaneously fragile and resilient, evoke peculiar fruits and unknown flowers, carrying within them the tenderness of transmitted recipes and the secrets of mountain landscapes where the artist grew up. Through precise gestures guided by her observation and imagination, Hà My Nguyễn invites viewers into a world where nature and fiction blend, where the "seeds of dreams" bloom quietly, asserting the power of care, slowness, and reverie within contemporary life.
